WC CHAIRS

Per facilitar l'ús del lavabo als usuaris amb discapacitats i als seus ajudants.

The lavatories and latrines from the zone are in poor conditions. They consist mainly of a hole with simple supports for the hands. As seen on the picture on the left, the lavatories seem very uncomfortable for non-disabled users, so it must be a much more complicated task for disabled children. That is why we have distributed a few chairs to help users go to the toilet with ease. They were built in a local workshop from Tororo.

MOSQUITO NETS

Malaria is caused by the bite of a mosquito which has been infected by the malaria parasite. To avoid this and protect the children from Agururu Primary School, we have installed 50 mosquito nets. This way they also sleep better, since no insects disturb them at night.

BAKERY STOVE

To teach craft to Agururu Primary School's students, the school offers a bakery where, apart from cooking the daily meals, they teach students how to become bakers. They also take classes on sweing and other useful crafts.
